Authentic and stylish – the KrallerAlm is legendary.
Because there is always a good reason! It's only 100 metres from the Krallerhof and directly at the Steinbergpiste slope / above the valley station of the Steinbergbahn, and you'll find outstanding food, good music and a great atmosphere. Countless historic artefacts give this legendary inn its unique rustic charm.
The "in" place in Leogang and the surrounding area
Restaurant, pizzeria, pub and bar – the KrallerAlm is all of them in one.
Enjoy the sun on the big terrace and the spectacular ski hut jumping by the Red Devils every Wednesday in winter – the ski show from the Skiszene Altenberger ski school. In summer you can enjoy the last rays of sunshine over a sundowner here on the terrace, the perfect way to round off the day.
As soon as it opened in 1976, the KrallerAlm became the place to go in Leogang. In that sense, nothing has changed to this day, even though a fire in 2003 burned it down to its foundations. It was promptly rebuilt and opened its doors again the following year. With loving attention to detail, Sepp Altenberger jun. transformed the newly rebuilt Alm into a museum restaurant. The decor is based on the theme of spinning and weaving. Exhibits from the olden days include flax dressing equipment, beautiful old flat-irons, a wool combing machine, historic spinning wheels and thousands of others. The ancient artefacts create a welcoming and cosy atmosphere throughout the KrallerAlm. Whether you dine in one of the various dining rooms, at the big, horseshoe-shaped bar or on the gallery, this is a great place to eat and relax. Actually, it's even perfect for parties and events, but just see for yourself on the virtual tour.
